01 Acceptance of terms
By accessing the GRAVE websites, connecting a wallet, or interacting with the GRAVE smart contracts, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Interface or the protocol. "GRAVE," "we," "us," and "our"
refer to the maintainers of the GRAVE Protocol; "you" refers to the person or entity using it.
"Interface" means the websites at grave.cash and app.grave.cash;
"Protocol" means the GraveFactory and GraveVault smart contracts
deployed on Robinhood Chain.
02 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of forming a binding agreement. You must not be located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where use of the Protocol is prohibited, and you must not be subject to sanctions or listed on any applicable prohibited-parties list. You are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful where you are.
03 Nature of the Protocol
GRAVE is decentralized, autonomous, and immutable software. The GraveVault
contract has no admin key, no upgrade path, and no pause switch. Once deployed,
it executes exactly as written, and neither GRAVE nor anyone else can alter, reverse, freeze, or
override its behavior.
The Interface is merely one convenient way to interact with the Protocol; the Protocol exists independently of it and can be used directly. We do not operate the blockchain, control the network, or process transactions on your behalf.
04 Non-custodial
GRAVE never takes custody of your assets or your keys. Assets you deposit reside in your own vault contract and remain under your control while your vault is active. You alone are responsible for your wallet, your private keys, and every transaction you sign.
We cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, cancel an execution, or retrieve assets sent in error. Onchain actions are final.
05 Not a legal will or professional advice
GRAVE is a technical execution layer, not a law firm, a fiduciary, a trustee, or an executor. A GRAVE Vault is not, by itself, a legally valid will or testamentary instrument, and it may not satisfy the formalities your jurisdiction requires for inheritance.
Nothing in the Interface, documentation, or whitepaper is legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. GRAVE is intended to complement, not replace, proper estate planning. Always consult qualified professionals in your jurisdiction before relying on GRAVE for real assets or succession.
06 Your responsibilities
- Keep your wallet and keys secure; you bear all consequences of their loss or compromise.
- Verify all vault parameters — schedule, beneficiaries, shares (in basis points, summing to 10,000), and guardians — before you submit them.
- Perform your proof-of-life check-ins on the schedule you set. Missed check-ins beyond the grace period will allow execution.
- Verify beneficiary addresses. Assets sent to a wrong or inaccessible address cannot be recovered.
- Confirm the transfer semantics of any token you deposit (fees, blocklists, pausability).
- Ensure your use complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you.
07 Assumption of risk
You acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in blockchain protocols, including but not limited to:
- Unaudited code. The contracts are experimental and, at the time of writing, unaudited. They may contain bugs or vulnerabilities that result in total loss of assets.
- Irreversibility. Execution and claims are permissionless and final; they cannot be undone.
- Premature or missed execution. Misconfigured schedules, missed check-ins, or failure of anyone to call
execute()may cause outcomes you did not intend. - Smart-contract and network risk. Congestion, reorganizations, RPC failures, or chain-level issues on Robinhood Chain.
- Asset volatility & token behavior. The value and transferability of ETH and RWA Stock Tokens can change or be restricted.
- Regulatory risk. Laws affecting crypto assets, RWAs, and onchain inheritance may change and may affect your use.
You use the Protocol entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for evaluating it before depositing any assets.
08 Fees & gas
The GRAVE contracts charge no protocol fee. You are responsible for the network gas fees (paid in ETH) required for every transaction you submit, including creating a vault, checking in, depositing, executing, and claiming. Gas is paid to the network, not to GRAVE.
09 Prohibited use
You agree not to use the Protocol or Interface to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or sanctions regime.
- Launder money, finance terrorism, or facilitate any illegal activity.
- Deposit assets you do not own or have no right to transfer.
- Interfere with, attack, or attempt to exploit the Interface, contracts, or network.
- Misrepresent your identity or circumvent eligibility restrictions.
10 Intellectual property
The GRAVE name, logo, and branding are the property of GRAVE. The smart contracts are released under the license stated in their source (MIT). Your use of open-source components is governed by their respective licenses. Nothing here grants you rights to GRAVE trademarks except as needed to describe the Protocol accurately.
11 Third-party services
The Interface integrates third-party services such as wallet connectors (Reown / WalletConnect), RPC providers, hosting, and block explorers. We do not control these services and are not responsible for them. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
12 Disclaimers
THE PROTOCOL AND INTERFACE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Protocol or Interface will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, that defects will be corrected, or that any particular outcome (including timely or intended execution of a will) will occur.
13 Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAVE AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF ASSETS, PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE PROTOCOL OR INTERFACE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Because the Protocol is autonomous and non-custodial, we have no ability to control outcomes and assume no responsibility for the results of its operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GRAVE and its contributors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Protocol or Interface, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
15 Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by applicable principles of international commercial law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. To the extent a specific forum is required, disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis in a competent forum, and you waive any right to participate in a class action, except where such waiver is prohibited by law.
16 Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the Protocol evolves. Material changes are indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Interface or Protocol after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
